What we do

Anodizing of aluminum

Anodizing is one of several ways to surface treat aluminum. In anodizing, pure aluminum is converted to aluminum oxide through a controlled electrolytic oxidation process.

Hard anodizing

In addition to conventional anodizing, we have also been producing hard anodizing for several years, making us an even more complete supplier of aluminum surface treatment.

Coloring

An anodized, and to some extent also a hard-anodized surface layer, can be colored. Color and shade depend on many factors, such as choice of alloy, color pigment and concentrations.

Passivation

In November 2019, we started passivation of aluminum with Surtec 650 at Ahlins. It is the first addition to our process range since we started with hard anodizing 10 years ago.

Ahlins has the expertise to take care of the customer's production from drawing to finished product. This also includes steps such as cutting, tumbling, assembly and packaging.
